ROCHESTER, Mich. - This week's edition of Golden Grizzlies Weekly showcases a Horizon League opener at home and a Metro Series matchup on the road for the men's basketball team.

SATURDAY, JAN. 10
Women's Basketball vs. Milwaukee, 11:30 a.m.
▪ The women's basketball team will begin Horizon League play at home as it hosts the Panthers inside the Athletics Center O'rena.

GOLDEN GRIZZLIES ON THE ROAD
Men's Basketball
▪ The Golden Grizzlies will be on the road for a pair of Horizon League contests this week as they first travel to Cleveland State on Thursday. Oakland will then take on the University of Detroit Mercy at Calihan Hall on Saturday starting at 3 p.m. The game will be the first of two matchups the men's basketball team will have during the inaugural Metro Series, driven by Trinity Transportation.

Indoor Track and Field
▪ The men's and women's track and field team will begin the new year at the EMU Triangular meet, hosted by Eastern Michigan, on Friday at Bowen Fieldhouse.
