Findlay Open Results

FINDLAY, Ohio - David Koponen and Geoffrey Williston finished third and fourth in the 800m with times of 1:56.82 and 1:56.96 respectively at the Findlay Open held at the Malcolm Athletic Center on Friday. Both times currently rank first and second in Horizon League 800m times this season. Chris Scott also finished sixth with a mark of 1:59.61.

"It's great to give our athletes an opportunity to compete in elite races," said head coach Paul Rice. "David and Geoff really took advantage of their opportunity tonight and now sit 1-2 atop of the Horizon League standings. We have been strong for many years in the men's 800m and this year is no exception. What a great effort by these guys tonight."

The men's and women's team also will conclude competition at the Jet's Pizza Invite hosted by Saginaw Valley State University on Saturday, Jan. 31.
