MT. PLEASANT, Mich. - Aaron Davis, Nicholas Girodat, Derrek Williams, Chris Scott and Matthew Jordan each won events for the Oakland men's track and field team while Sydney Sterling and Serena San Cartier led the women's side with first place finishes at the Jack Skoog Dual held on Friday at the Jack Skoog Indoor Track & Field Complex.
"This was a lot of fun! We kept it close with CMU until late in the meet when then their depth really took over," said head coach Paul Rice. "They have a great program and we competed very well against them. Today's meet, again, is another step in the journey on our way to the end of season championships. We still have a lot of work to do. A meet like today shows you the progress you have made and also the work left to do."
