ROCHESTER, Mich. - This edition of Golden Grizzlies Weekly showcases the start of the Metro Series between Oakland and the University of Detroit-Mercy.

TUESDAY, SEPT. 30
Volleyball vs. Eastern Michigan, 7:00 p.m.
â-ª The Golden Grizzlies return home for their final non-conference match of the season against EMU beginning at 7 p.m for Taco Tuesday. The first 250 students in the door get a free taco provided by Rojo Mexican Bistro.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 1
Men's Soccer at UDM, 4:00 p.m.
â-ª The men's soccer team will be apart of the first game in the inaugural Metro Series as they travel to UDM to take on the Titans at Titan Field.

FRIDAY, OCT. 3
Volleyball vs. Wright State, 7:00 p.m.
â-ª It is a Black Out in the O'rena as all fans are asked to wear black to support the volleyball home league opener. All fans who #WearTheBear will get to come on the court and take a picture with the team after the match.

SATURDAY, OCT. 4
Men's Soccer vs. Green Bay, 7 p.m.
â-ª Oakland will host Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day with all Oakland employees with a valid ID will receive a Wear The Bear t-shirt and free admission as the Golden Grizzlies take on the Phoenix.

SUNDAY, OCT. 5
Softball vs. Macomb CC and Ferris State, 10 a.m. and noon
â-ª The Golden Grizzlies will continue their fall schedule as they play a doubleheader at the Oakland Softball Field. Oakland will face Macomb Community College at 10 a.m. followed by Ferris State at noon.

Men's Golf
â-ª The Oakland men's golf team opens its 2014-15 season at the CSU Invitational hosted by Cleveland State on Monday and Tuesday.

Women's Soccer
â-ª Coming off a 2-1 victory over Green Bay on Saturday, the women's soccer team will travel to Youngstown State to continue league play on Saturday.

Women's Golf
â-ª After hosting the Golden Grizzlies Invitational, Oakland will travel to Iowa City to compete in the Diane Thomason Invitational hosted by Iowa.
