Golden Grizzlies Fan Fest Flyer

ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland will host the first-ever Golden Grizzlies Fan Festival on Tuesday, July 16th, starting at 7 p.m. in the Athletics Center O'rena. OU will announce the men's and women's basketball schedules, along with having all fall sports schedules on display.

"The Fan Fest is a tremendous opportunity for Oakland Athletics to engage with the community," said Director of Athletics Tracy Huth. "I believe an event like this during the summer allows our coaches, student-athletes and staff to visit with everyone interested in our programs in a fun, relaxed and festive environment. As this is the first opportunity for us to announce our inaugural Horizon League schedules and speak with fans and friends face-to-face, we are excited about the Fan Fest."

The event is free and open to the public. There will be complimentary food and beverages, along with a free t-shirt for every fan that makes their way into the O'rena. Autographs with coaches and student-athletes will be available, along with photos with the dance and cheer teams. Grizz and Clawzz will be on hand and fans can purchase season tickets.

The Golden Grizzlies will begin competition in the Horizon League this fall. OU's first official league match will be men's soccer on Friday, Sept. 6th versus Valparaiso at 7 p.m. on the OU Soccer Field.
