ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland received the official signed documents from the Horizon League on Friday, which the Golden Grizzlies will officially become members on July 1st. To celebrate this move, Oakland will host an event on July 16th where the Grizzlies will unveil their schedules for 2013-14.

The special event, open to fans, donors, media and students, will take place in the Athletics Center O'rena on July 16th.

The men's soccer team will host the first-ever Horizon League competition on Sept. 6th, versus Valparaiso, at 7 p.m. on the OU Soccer Field.
