Summit League Distinguished Scholar List

ELMHURST, Ill. - Oakland placed 53 student-athletes on The Summit League Academic Distinguished Scholars List for the winter and spring seasons, as announced by the league office on Thursday. OU had representatives from 10 out of the 11 winter and spring teams.

The Golden Grizzlies had the fifth-most student-athletes earn the distinction, following South Dakota State with 76 and South Dakota with 71 as a total of 514 student-athletes earned the honor. In order to be named a Distinguished Scholar, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.60 grade-point average in the semester in which they compete and must use a year of eligibility.

The complete list of Summit League Honor Roll selections will be released on Friday
