Oakland Places 73 on Summit League Academic Honor Roll

ELLMHURST, Ill.-- Oakland led all Summit League schools by placing a total of 73 student-athletes on the Summit League Fall Academic Honor Roll, which was announced by the league office on Friday. A total of 533 athletes across the league earned the distinction, which is awarded to students who post a 3.0 or better grade point average during their semester of competition.

Oakland also had 36 student-athletes earn Distinguished Scholar accolades, a special recognition for students posting a GPA of 3.6 or above. It is the fifth consecutive semester in which the Golden Grizzlies have led The Summit League in what is now known as the Academic Honor Roll.
