Oakland's men's swimming and diving team won The Summit League Championship to lead the Black & Gold to 31 points and a fifth place finish for the men's all-sports award. The OU baseball team finished second in the regular season standings and the men's basketball team was third. The men's soccer team also earned a trip to The Summit League Championship with a fourth place regular season finish to round out Oakland's top male performances during the season. Oral Roberts claimed the men's all-sport award with 43.5 points.
On the women's side, it was The Summit League Champion women's swimming and diving team that led the way for the Golden Grizzlies to earn 38.5 points and a seventh place finish. Oakland's volleyball team tied for third place and the OU women's soccer team placed fourth. Although the Golden Grizzlies women's soccer team went on to win The Summit League Championship, tournament success does not factor into the point totals.
