As we enter 2013, Oakland Athletics looks back at the best of 2012. Best wishes for an excellent 2013!!!

2012 HIGHLIGHTS #FIGHTOAKLAND

1 - Oakland's place in the Commissioner's Cup standings heading into 2013.

2 - Former men's golfer Brian Stuard qualified for the PGA Tour for the second time in his career. He will compete in 2013 on the Tour.

3 - Number of postseason wins for men's basketball, a new Summit League record.

3.20 - Fall Term Student-Athlete Grade Point Average.

4 - Seed of women's soccer opponent, Ohio State, in NCAA tournament. The Golden Grizzlies went on to defeat the Buckeyes and advance to the second round for the first time in program history (2nd time in league history).

6 - Summit League championships (Brittni Hutton, individual cross country title, men's soccer, women's soccer [regular season and tournament], men's swimming and diving, women's swimming and diving).

7 - Number of student-athletes that attained a perfect 4.0 GPA in the fall; Spencer Marentette, baseball, Amanda Baker, volleyball, Miranda Haas, women's cross country, Alanna Gerber, women's golf, Julianne Boyle, women's soccer, Serena San Cartier, women's soccer and track, Caymen Novak, women's track. Consecutive years that Oakland has led The Summit League in Academic All-League selections.

11 - The number of Kyle Bethel who tallied 13 assists (2nd in the country) en route to being named The Summit League Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year. Bethel helped lead the Golden Grizzlies to the regular-season title.

13 - Consecutive men's and women's Summit League Swimming and Diving Championships.

19 - feet, 5.25 inches is the length former track and field standout Micah Jones posted in the long jump to become the first-ever women's champion at The Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

21 - Round of the Major League Baseball Draft that Hayden Fox was taken in by the Miami Marlins.

21:09 - The women's cross country 6k record time Brittni Hutton ran this season at Bradley. Hutton won The Summit League championship on Katke-Cousins Golf Course, becoming the second OU runner to earn League Athlete of the Year honors, while also garnered Championship MVP accolades.

26.2 - Reggie Hamilton's nation-leading scoring average in 2011-12. Hamilton became the first-ever Summit League NCAA scoring champion.

30 - Anniversary of The Summit League. Former women's soccer standout Anita Rapp, basketball star Keith Benson and current swimming and diving coach Pete Hovland were named to The Summit League Top 30 Distinguished Contributor's List.

34 - Baseball coach John Musachio's jersey number. Musachio became the first-ever baseball coach to earn Summit League Coach of the Year honors after leading the Golden Grizzlies to a runner-up finish.

60 - Nation-leading 3-pointers Travis Bader has made so far this basketball season.

66 - Oakland's place in the Division I Learfield Sports Directors' Cup standings (highest ever after the fall).

444 - Sets played by senior volleyball player Alli Kirk, setting a new school record. She also set a new school record with 622 digs during her senior season.

1000 - A perfect Multi-Year NCAA Academic Progress Report (APR) score for women's basketball and women's golf.

1,578 - Record number of kills senior volleyball player Meghan Bray had in her standout career.
