DMC Celebrity Basketball Game Flyer
ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland University will join NFL Rookie of the Year Ndamukong Suh in hosting the 10th annual DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan's Celebrity Wheelchair Basketball Game on Thursday Sept. 22 in the Athletics Center O'rena. The pregame festivities will start at 6 p.m. with a Celebrity game at 7 p.m.
The game features sports celebrities, radio and television personalities, who will compete in a wheelchair basketball game along with the award-winning wheelchair basketball team from the DMC Rehabilitation Institute, the Detroit Diehards. The pregame will be DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan's doctors, nurses and therapists challenging Oakland University's Athletic Department to a wheelchair basketball game.
Tickets are available the night of the game at the Oakland University Box Office. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for students. The first 500 fans through the door are free. All proceeds from the Celebrity Wheelchair Basketball Game benefit RIM's SportsAbility program, which provides persons with disabilities the opportunity to compete in competitive and recreational sports.
