ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland University department of athletics will host its 28th Annual Golden Grizzlies Golf Classic on Monday, Aug. 22, at Katke-Cousins and R&S Sharf Golf Courses on the campus of OU. Entry Fees for the event will be $275 for the Sharf Course and $200 for Katke-Cousins Golf Course and will help support the over 330 Oakland student-athletes.
"This golf outing gives our fans, alumni and supporters an opportunity to enjoy a great day of golf, while contributing to academic and athletic programs that assist hundreds of our student-athletes," said Director of Athletics Tracy Huth. "Many of our coaches, student-athletes and staff will be out at the golf courses for meet and greet opportunities."
The Title Sponsor for this year's event will be Plastic Engineering & Technical Services (PETS). Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. and there will be a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. (Sharf) and 8:45 a.m. (Katke-Cousins). Lunch will also be provided at Danny's Cabin and an awards presentation to follow.
