ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland University Department of Athletics will be offering six to ten marketing internships for the 2010-11 academic year. The Athletics Marketing Intern Program will give students first-hand experience in a Division I athletics department with focus on customer service, community outreach, game day operations and special event promotion and execution.

Interns will serve as game day leaders and have responsbilities such as pre-game preparation, on-court promotions and post-game coordination. These internships are for course credit only.

The deadline to apply is Friday, April 2, with candidate interviews beginning on Monday, April 5. Selected candidates will be announced on Monday, April 12.
