ROCHESTER, Mich. - The 2009-10 Grizz Gang Jumpin’ Jamboree is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 2 from 6-9 p.m. at Hamlin Circle on the campus of Oakland University. The event is sponsored by the OU Spirit Squad, Student Congress, and the University Housing and Athletics Departments.  

The Jamboree is a free event for the OU campus community that will celebrate the kickoff of the 2009-10 Grizz Gang student organization. The event is a great opportunity to showcase the OU coaches and athletes, as well as athletics and campus administration members to the OU student population.Over 800 students participated in the 2008 event and are now members of the Grizz Gang and Grizz Gang Passport Program.

All students, faculty and staff are invited to enjoy the fun. The Jamboree will include the opportunity soak athletics and university administrators in the dunk tank, a recreational basketball tournament, a bean bag toss, a DJ, human bowling and other inflatable games, a chance to meet and greet with coaches and athletes and enjoy free food and beverages provided by Kowalski and Pepsi.
