Johnathon Jones led the nation in assists per game with 8.1, and the Golden Grizzlies boast the nation's 11th-best home winning streak with 14 consecutive wins inside the O'Rena.
Women's Basketball
Meanwhile, the women's team posted a Division I record 26 wins, and tied an all-time school record with 16 wins in league play. OU beat a nationally-ranked opponent for the second consecutive season, topping No. 21 South Dakota State 67-51. Head coach Beckie Francis won her 200th career game, and guard Melissa Jeltema eclipsed the 1,000-point plateau during a highly-successful campaign. The Golden Grizzlies return an experienced lineup to the floor for the 2009-10 season, led by seniors Hanna Reising, Melissa Jeltema, and Riikka Terava.
