The Eighth Annual President's Invitational golf tournament was held on Friday, June 12 on the R&S Sharf golf course on the campus of Oakland University. Nearly 80 golfers competed in a two-person, best ball format for the prestigious Golden Grizzly award.

Participants and their guests enjoyed a delicious mid-day luncheon, a picture-perfect afternoon of golf, and an elegant evening reception with a live band under the tent at Meadowbrook Hall. The event, chaired by Hugh Elliott of Elliott Group International, has grossed more than $1 million since its inception, supporting important academic and athletic programs across the University.
