ROCHESTER, Mich. - Looking to earn valuable experience in customer service, entertainment, special events and athletic events? Then, come try out to be the Grizz mascot!

Tryouts will run on Wednesday and Thursday, April 14 and 15 from 5-7 p.m. in the Athletics Center O'Rena and are open to all 2009-10 Oakland University students. The audition will consist of crowd yell, ability to lead the crowd and the Grizz costume. Those trying out should also prepare a one-minute long skit set to music that may include props, additional costume changes and creativity. Remember to keep it entertaining and crowd friendly. The skit should have a theme and be well-planned. Some material will be taught along with the cheerleader tryouts.

Those named to the Spirit Squad Mascot Team must maintain a 2.25 GPA and make progress towards a degree.
