ROCHESTER, Mich. - Think you have a great name for a new Grizz mascot? Then enter the Mascot Naming Contest, sponsored by the Oakland University Department of Athletics. 

Entires can be submitted from Friday Nov. 6 through Thursday, Nov. 12. All names will be reviewed by the Athletics Naming Committee and the winner will be announced at the men's basketball home opener on Saturday, Nov. 14 against Eastern Michigan University. A special surprise will then be unveiled to Golden Grizzlies fans. 

All entries must be e-mailed to grizzfan@oakland.edu with the subject line, "Name the Grizz." The winner will receive a $50 gift card to Buffalo Wild Wings.
