ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Grizz Kidz Club will kick off the 2009-10 season with a celebration event on Saturday, Nov. 14 starting at 5:30 p.m. at the OU Athletics Center. 

Members and their families will enjoy free food, games and will be able to meet the Grizz. Kidz Club members will also receive a variety of giveaways, including a bag, T-shirt, a membership tag and Grizz Bucks. 

Those in attendance are encouraged to make a day out of the event, starting with the women's volleyball match against UMKC at 4 p.m. and then watching the men's basketball home opener against Eastern Michigan University following the kickoff celebration at 7 p.m. 

To get to the first floor of the Athletics Center, from the main entrance, take the stairs or elevator on the left side across from the O'Rena doors. 

Those interested in attending must RSVP by e-mailing burke23@oakland.edu by Wednesday, Nov. 11. Please include how many family members will be present, as well as the Kidz Club member.
