ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland University men's and women's basketball season tickets are now on sale. The home schedule features Michigan (Dec. 20), Michigan State (Dec. 27) at the Palace of Auburn Hills and Toledo (Dec. 7)on the mens' side, with the women hosting perennial nationally-ranked teams Georgia (Nov. 20) and Marquette (Dec. 28) in the Athletics Center O'Rena.

Three different season ticket options are available and include reserved seating, OU Faculty/Staff reserved seating, and Alumni reserved seating. All season tickets include men???s and women???s games, and two games at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Through a special partnership, The OU Alumni Association and OU Athletics are proud to announce the opening of the Gold Zone, a seating section exclusively for OU alumni??? OUAA members can now get the best seats in the house at the O???Rena!! The Gold Zone is located in section E3, and is open only to season ticket holders who are OUAA members. In addition to prime seating, Gold Zone fans receive an exclusive Gold Zone t-shirt, and are eligible for game time promotions, special pre-game events, plus all of the benefits of being an OUAA member.

The 2008 Midnite Madnezz event will include a Block Party from 8:30pm to 10:00pm featuring food, beverages, music, and fan giveaways, Pep Rally from 10:00pm to 11:00pm featuring OU student athletes, introductions of the 2008-09 men???s and women???s basketball teams, fan giveaways, raffles, and exciting new promotions, and an after-party from 11:00pm-1:00am featuring a laser lightshow, music, donuts, cider, hot chocolate, and large screens for Wii games to be played.
