The Oakland University Athletics Department will host the 25th annual Golden Grizzlies Golf Classic Monday, Aug. 25 at the R&S Sharf and Katke-Cousins golf courses. Proceeds will benefit men???s and women???s athletics.

???This event is the largest single fundraiser for Athletics, providing key support for our academic and athletic programs that serve more than 350 student athletes,??? said athletic director Tracy Huth. ???We are grateful to P.E.T.S. and Credit Union One for being lead sponsors for more than 10 years; and to the many alumni, companies and friends of the department that have been so supportive for the past 25 years.???

Participants will enjoy 18 holes of golf in a four-person scramble format, lunch, a steak dinner, silent auction, prizes and a special gift. Registration is due Aug. 18 and costs $225 for the Katke-Cousins course and $300 for the R&S Sharf course.
