Rochester, Mich. (July 14, 2006) ???C Oakland University has announced the addition of three new members to its athletic staff. 
Alison Fields, 
Elisabeth Forshier and 
Carly Knazze have all joined the athletics staff in July. Fields will be working for the Golden Grizzlies as the Coordinator of Promotions, Ticketing and Marketing. Fields is no stranger to the Oakland athletics department, having served as the OU assistant volleyball coach for the past two seasons. She came to Oakland after graduating from Stony Brook University in New York with a Bachelor's degree in social sciences in 2004. She was a four-year player for the Seawolfs and three-time captain as a setter and defensive specialist, leading the team in assists as a freshman and earning All-Academic America East Conference recognition. Forshier joined the OU staff in June as the departments Facilities Coordinator. Forshier comes to Oakland from Michigan State University where she worked in event management/facilities for the past two years. During that time she also completed work on her Masters in athletic administration which she received in 2003. Prior to her role in facilities, she served as an assistant gymnastics coach for the Spartans for three years. Knazze, OU???s new Coordinator of Annual Giving, comes to OU after serving as an athletic administrative intern at the University of Detroit during the 2005-06 school year. A native of Suffern, New York, Knazze graduated from the University of Michigan in 2004 with a BA in sport management and communications. She was a four-time letterwinner in track for the Wolverines, earning All-America honors in 2004 as a member of the U-M distance medley relay. As a freshman in 2000 she was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year after capturing the conference championship in the 400-meter dash.
