Rochester, Mich. (July 27, 2005) ???C Oakland???s athletics training staff added another full-time member to its staff today when head athletics trainer Tom Ford announced the hiring of Lindsey Harn as his newest assistant athletics trainer. She will assist with all aspects of the operations of Oakland???s athletics training room. No stranger to the Oakland family, Harn has spent the last two years at OU as a graduate assistant for Ford while pursuing her Master???s in exercise science. She has worked with a number of Oakland???s teams, including the volleyball and softball squads. Prior to coming to Oakland, Harn was a student trainer at Appalachian State where she earned her B.S. in athletic training in 2003. While with the Mountaineer program she worked with football, baseball, soccer and track and field as well as with a number of sports camps in the area.
