Brian Stuard let the Oakland University men???s golf team to their first team victory in the 2003 season with a win at the Bulldog Men???s Fall Invitation in Big Rapids, Mich. on Saturday. Stuard captured the individual title shooting a 68 on the second day for a 137 total. The men finished in first place three strokes ahead of Grand Valley State with a score of 579. The women???s team, who just closed out their first day in the Lady Falcon Invitational at Bowling Green, Ohio, is sitting in eighth place with a score of 329. Finishing in tenth place on the men???s side for Oakland was sophomore 
Jon Pauli (St. John???s, Mich.) who shot a 36-hole total of 146. 
Ryan Yellen (Grand Blanc, Mich.) had the next best finish for Oakland in 14th place with a two-day score of 148. Rounding out the team for the Golden Grizzlies were 
Matt Pullen (Grand Rapids, Mich.) and 
Rob Reynolds (Waterford, Mich.) who both shot scores of 151 to tie for 23rd overall. On the women???s side, senior 
Mara Mazzoni (Livonia, Mich.) was again the top finisher for the Golden Grizzlies for the second straight week shooting a 72 in day one of competition and sitting in second place. Other current scores for Oakland???s finishers are 
Stacey Goins (Rochester Hills, Mich.), who sits in 12th spot with a 78, 
Christina Cibrario (Milford, Mich.) who shot a 88 and holds the 44th place, 
Jenny Riley (Tecumseh, Mich.) and 
Sarah Stark (Battle Creek) who shot 91 and 96 respectively and sit in 46th and 52nd place. The women???s team continues action tomorrow for the final day of the invitational while the men???s team takes a one-day break and continues competition on Monday at Bowling Green for the John Piper Intercollegiate golf tournament.
