Rochester, Mich. - Oakland University???s soccer complex received a major upgrade this week with the addition of a new state-of-the-art scoreboard at the West end of the field. Standing over 50-feet over the playing field, the new scoring center will enable fans at any point around the field to easily get game information. The board, made possible by the Oakland University Alumni Association, replaces a smaller, portable system that was previously used. In addition to displaying game time and score, it also includes areas to keep track of shots, corner kicks and saves. The scoreboard also includes a scrolling, programmable message center.
