Rochester, Mich. ???C Oakland University had 29 student-athletes named to the fall Mid-Continent Academic All-Conference teams it was announced today. To be selected for the team a student-athlete must achieve a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average, be a sophomore or higher academic standing and compete in the sport for which he/she is nominated. Oakland???s 29 selections to the team were the third most in the eight team league. Oakland???s men???s soccer team contributed the most student-athletes to the list with eight players gaining recognition. The Golden Grizzly women???s soccer team had seven honorees, while the men???s cross country team had six and the women???s cross country and volleyball teams each had four academic all-conference players.
