Oakland University's Gary Robinson (Sr., Jackson/Jackson HS) and Cheryl Tooshkenig (Jr., Wallaceburg, Ontario, Canada) have been named to the 2001 All-Mid-Continent Conference teams following the Mid-Con Championship April 23-24. Robinson was named first team all-conference after finishing second overall at the men's championship in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Robinson recorded a three-round 226 and finished 12 strokes behind medalist Charleton Dechert of Oral Roberts. Tooshkenig was named second team All-Mid-Con after finishing in a tie for 10th place. Tooshkenig, in her first competition of the year for Oakland, recorded a three-round 254.
