The Oakland University men's swimming and diving team was defeated by the University of Cincinnati, 166-127, Saturday, February 10, at the OU Aquatics Center. The Golden Grizzlies fall to 4-3 in the dual meet season. Leading OU individually with two first-place finishes was Sean Broadbent. The Windsor, Canada native scored the Grizzlies first top finish with a time of 1:43.33 in the 200-yard freestyle. Broadbent's second top mark came in the 100 free with a time of 46.82. Rounding out the Grizzlies top finishers was Can Kulduk and Doug Drazin. Kulduk finished first in the 100 back (52.72) and Drazin finished first in the 50 yard freestyle (21.71). Oakland will next host the National Independent Conference Championships February 22-24. Preliminaries start at 10 a.m. and finals start at 7 p.m. each day.
