Jenny Swiatowy joined the Athletics Department at Oakland University in November 2013 as the Assistant to the Athletics Director. She was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Administration in June 2019 and advanced to Associate Athletic Director for Administration in February 2024. She also serves as the department’s Senior Woman Administrator.
As a member of the senior leadership team, Swiatowy provides oversight for Athletics Administration, Athletic Events, and VIP Rooms, while serving as the Athletics liaison to the Office of Legal Affairs, University Human Resources, Purchasing, Risk Management, and University Technology Services. She is the sport administrator for the Softball and Men’s Soccer programs. In addition, she represents Athletics on the University’s Administrative Council, Title IX Committee, Youth Protection Committee, and PROUD Committee.
Before her tenure in Athletics, Jenny spent more than a decade in Oakland University’s Office of Legal Affairs as Legal Secretary to the Vice President and staff attorneys, while also supporting the Office of Inclusion and Intercultural Initiatives. She previously worked at the Silver Lake Law Center as a Legal Assistant and Office Manager, supporting various attorneys.
A lifelong resident of Clarkston, Mich., Swiatowy is married to her husband of 34 years, Eric. They are proud parents of two grown children, Duffy and Molly, and grandparents to Sophia, their cherished granddaughter.
